What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Make sure you have 32-bit JVM and plugin installed
2. Goto any web site using applets, i.e.
http://www.java.com/en/download/help/testvm.xml

What is the expected result?
Java applet works

What happens instead?
Java applet is not shown.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
and backtrace if possible.

The about:plugins does not show any mime type for java plugin:
