Comment #8 on issue 16766 by daniel.r.kegel: Stop button usability issues http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16766
I'm looking at Firefox 3.0 right now, and it uses a red octagon with an X in it. The octagon turns red when it can do something, and is greyed out when it can't. Firefox 3.5 downloaded straight from Mozilla behaves the same way. I'm on Linux; maybe you're on some other platform? The Konqueror that comes with current Ubuntu is indeed 4.x. If we make our X turn red while it's active, people might see it even though it's far away from where they expect it. That's what Firefox and Konqueror do on my system, at least. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
