Comment #2 on issue 16722 by iambob: Enhancement: Add a keyboard shortcut to close the download status bar. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16722
Not sure if this is too off-topic or not, but any chance of having the download bar auto-hide after some timeout period after all downloads have finished? Considering that Chrome avoids confirmation messages so that the user doesn't have to keep micro- managing messages... I find it odd that with every download, the user has to close the download bar in order to regain the normal screen real-estate. I know it isn't much, but for those with OCD who don't want the download bar to always be there, it means an extra step with every download or set of downloads. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
