It seems like the horizontal bar is only shown when there is vertical bar
needed, for
the amount of space taken up by the vertical bar (see the bad Screenshot
png).
When I login to gmail account with empty inbox, i.e. does not need vertical
bar, no
horizontal bar is shown. But if I switch to view which needs vertical bar,
i.e All
Mail, the horizontal bar is shown.
Another thing to note, when you switch back to empty inbox from view which
is showing
scrollbars, the scroll bars are not removed...even when they are not needed.
