thanks for the report
*set the clock an hour or a minute forward*
Chrome: OK- clock is updated and clock is running
Safari: OK- clock is updated and clock is running
FF: OK- clock is updated and clock is running
IE8: OK- clock is updated and clock is running
Opera: OK- clock is updated and clock is running
*set the clock a minute back*
Chrome: FAIL- ignore the change and clock keeps running. even a refresh
won't do- the tab must be closed
Safari: FAIL- detect the change and then freeze
FF: FAIL- detect the change and then freeze
IE8: OK- detect the change and clock is still running
Opera: OK- detect the change and clock is still running
*set the clock an hour back* (only thing different here is Safari)
Chrome: FAIL- ignore the change and clock keeps running. even a refresh
won't do- the tab must be closed
Safari: FAIL- ignore the change and freeze
FF: FAIL- detect the change and then freeze
IE8: OK- detect the change and clock is still running
Opera: OK- detect the change and clock is still running
IE8 and Opera scored all points
FF did a bit better than Safari
and Chrome was the worst because unlike Safari, a Reload isn't enough to
fix a malfunctioning clock
a low priority issue though...
