New issue 17317 by piyush.garyali: The date in gmail once opened in Chrome
is different from the current timezone
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17317

Chrome Version: 3.0.194.3-r20926
OS + version: Ubuntu 9.04
CPU architecture(32-bit / 64-bit): 32 bit
window manager: Gnome 2.26.1
Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Works fine

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Open www.gmail.com
2.Send a mail to yourself
3.Check the time of the new mail

What is the expected result?
The new mail should have the time according to the your timezone.

What happens instead?
The time being shown in Google chrome for Gmail is different. For example,
my time zone if eastern. When I send a mail at 8:05 PM it is shown as 11:05
PM in Chrome. When I open gmail in Firefox, the time is shown correctly.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot
and backtrace if possible.
