Comment #14 on issue 4119 by viettrungluu: Page saved incorrectly. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=4119
Update: The example from darin's original report is now serialized as, starting and ending at |: | <!-- saved from url=(0031)file:///Users/vtl/dev/test.html --> <HTML><HEAD><META http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=ISO-8859- 1"></HEAD><BODY><P style="color: red"></P> <B>bold line</B> </BODY></HTML>| (with an initial but no terminal LF). (As a further clarification, this is in save "Web Page, Complete" mode (HTML-only mode does the expected, namely save a literal page.) This is more or less what's expected (modulo the annoying newline/nonnewline), though one can debate the amount of mangling which should be done. Firefox saves similarly in "Complete" mode. Safari only has a "webarchive" mode, which just hides the fact that it's not saving the original. The inability to save google.tt properly remains. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
