Comment #10 on issue 13811 by david.spike: Wrong favicon on a webpage
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=13811
I can confirm this bug. It just happened to me again right now and I took a
screenshot to file a report. It started happening around two updates ago,
I'm using
3.0.195.1 right now. It does appear to happen randomly but it happens most
frequently
when you either middle click to open a link or press the + sign to open a
new tab.
I suggest we change the name of the bug report so that it better reflects
the actual
problem. It's just not the favicon it's the whole tab info that
gets "cloned". Other
thing I might add is that the new tab always clones the one right next to
it.
