Other browsers tested:
   Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:

   Firefox 3.x: OK
          IE 8: OK
   SRWare IRON: FAIL
        Chrome: FAIL

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install IBM software for mouse called 'Mouse Suite 98 Daemon'
2. Open any URL in Chrome that contain hyperlinks.
3. Middle click on a link to try and open the link in a new tab

What is the expected result?
  The link opens in a new tab

What happens instead?
  The link does not open in a new tab, and instead the mousw pointer icen
turns to a 'scroll' icon and scrolls around the webpage.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.

The page also scrolls far too much (several lines at a time) when the roll
wheel in turned during normal browsing (not pressing the middle click, but
just rolling through webpages by trying to use the wheel)

OS = Vista, SP1 and SP2
