New issue 17870 by [email protected]: Wrench > Preferences http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17870 Chrome Version : 3.0.196.0~svn20090727r21637 URLs (if applicable) : http://library.gnome.org/devel/hig-book/stable/principles- consistency.html.en Behavior in Firefox 3.x: OK What is the expected result? Almost universally, in GNOME, "Preferences", in the Edit menu, is the place to configure the application (contrasting with Tools > Options, which prevails in Windows). I don't know if, or where, it's specifically stated it should be called preferences, but the HIG does state, "Make your application consistent with itself and with other applications ..." -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
