I know the problem, but it is not only for "open link in new tab" but for any context- entry. If you open the context menu with a right click, and you are fast clicking on one of the entries, you don't get any response, maybe depending on your system power. I ran it under Windows 7 Beta (not RC) and now on XP SP3 with the same problem.
