Comment #5 on issue 16118 by C4rl0sMC: --safe-plugins hangs browser window @ imageshack.us http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=16118
You're refering to the old version (pict.: blue outlined button - http://imageshack.us/?no_multi=1), which I didn't knew about (never noticed!) - that one works fine for me, too. I was refering to the new version - there, it happens clicking on either the (red outlined) text box or button, which should both bring the file dialog. It seems it tries or actually opens the (modal) dialog, but never gets to draw it, so I get a system sound when I click the window. Alt-tab won't show the browser window, and win-tab can't move it to top, instead moves whatever is before it in z-order, except if it's the only non minimized window; eventually it will become paled and windows error dialog shows, but ocasionally nothing happens and clicking on it won't produce any action, not even the system sound - in this case only taskmgr will kill it (and no error dialog). I can wait pretty much forever ;) but I can't get around to any dialog; I can't minimize it either and the system menu (shift-rightclick) doesn't show up either, in the taskbar. Anyway, now that I know the way around it, it's not much of a problem anymore. Thanks! ;) Attachments: Clipboard01.jpg 131 KB -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
