if image is wider than 780px
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18067
Chrome Version : 3.0.193.2
URLs (if applicable) :
Other browsers tested:
Safari 4: OK
Firefox 3.x: OK
IE 7: OK
IE 8: OK
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create background image wider than 780px (use some pattern to see visual
artifacts)
2. use this image on some block background (css - .classname {
background:url(wide.gif) repeat-y; }
3.
What is the expected result?
background should be repeating and there should be no scaling, pixel
doubling or any other artifacts.
What happens instead?
every n'th pixel is doubled repeatingly, the wider the image, the more
artifacts.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
