Comment #24 on issue 17162 by iambob: Don't switch focus to new tab http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=17162
This is REALLY upsetting. Aside from my usual DAILY activities of surfing through news sites and blogs (which absolutely REQUIRE tabs to be open in the background to stay organized)... I also have a weekly activity for my business that absolutely NEEDS this functionality. When it was taken away, I was forced to use IE again... when it was brought back, I celebrated... and now it has been taken away again. Can there at least be a command-line switch so that at least the active followers of the forums and this issue system can still help test Chrome without being inconvenienced by intentional tests. Bugs and instability are understandable... intentional tests should have an opt-out for those "in the know". It would be a whole lot easier to opt-out of the test than to have to use a different browser for a week or two (or more). -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
