clearing freezes the browser.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.have one tab opened with multiple pages in "its history"
2.clear history and cache
3.notice you can still go back to previous pages
What is the expected result?
previous pages should not be accessible on the same tab after history was
cleared
What happens instead?
well you can browse previous pages :)
then, while being on the first page opened in that tab, clearing history
again never ends, Chrome freezes without any "not responding" message in
the title bar. Gotta end Chrome process from task manager.
