Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 18400 by scott.vivian: Opening anchor links in background doesn't scroll to the right place http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18400
Chrome Version : 2.0.172.37 URLs (if applicable) : http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/ What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open a page with links to anchors (i.e. page.html#anchor). 2. Use middle click to open a page in a new background tab (on the example page, I used "Dates and times" under "6. Basic HTML data types"). 3. After page is loaded, switch to tab. What is the expected result? Page to be scrolled to correct position. What happens instead? It's scrolled to the bottom of the page. The anchor-jump works fine if the page is opened in the same tab. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
