New issue 18407 by [email protected]: Can't use Search Engine whose keyword is prefix of another url http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18407 Chrome Version : 3.0.196.0 OS + version : Ubuntu Hardy CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 64 window manager : default (metacity?) What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Right-click location bar and add a new search engine with keyword "c" 2. Go to some url that starts with c (say, crbug.com) 3. Open a new tab, hit c, then hit tab What is the expected result? Chrome should recognize that c is a search engine keyword and hence switch to "Search c" mode. What happens instead? Nothing. Please provide any additional information below.
