Thanks for the report.  Can you use wireshark to get a dump an https  
session when
you're behind a proxy?

Also, according to earlier reports, r17161 worked for michal.  Can you try  
that build
as well?  You can get a copy of the build at:
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/linux/2009-05-28/17161/.  Let
me know if that build works fine for you.  If it does, then can you do a  
binary search
for us to narrow down the change that breaks for you?  You can navigate
http://build.chromium.org/buildbot/continuous/linux/ to get copies of old  
builds.
