Comment #4 on issue 18192 by [email protected]: Intermittent ERR_CONNECTION_RESET for web page at null http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18192
I have a suspicion that the error is more likely to occur when there is other network activity going on at the same time. It also mostly (but not exclusively) seems to occur on links that would take me back to a previous page. Nothing similar has occurred on other browsers recently, but I mostly use Chrome. My hardware includes a D-Link DSL-G604T router which will probably be replaced within a couple of months as I have to change ISP. I'm using Norton Internet Security for firewall. I have not changed my hardware or software (apart from letting Chrome and Vista do automatic updates) but I only became aware of the problem within the last few days, and it is now happening quite a lot. This week I'm using a different ISP because I'm away from home (one which uses the nasty Barefruit intercept for DNS errors), so it's possible that the increased rate of the problem relates to the different ISP - I won't be able to check that for a few days. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
