When we last discussed this, I believe we were worried about the following
scenario:
browser window in the background, unrelated window in the foreground.
Mousing over
the browser window would then cause the status bubble to pop up over both
windows,
rather than between the two windows. I can't remember if we concluded
whether it was
impossible or just difficult to fix.
