Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 18751 by stf.alx.gamma: Chrome freezes after a while from accesing a specific page. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18751
Chrome Version : 2.0.172.39 URLs : http://research.stefanalexandru.ro/blueberry/dashboard- statistics.html Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: ok (minor glitch i've described this at the bottom of the page ) Firefox 3.x: ok IE 7: ok IE 8: ok What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. waiting a while 2. changing between tabs after a while 3. clicking around for a while in blank areas What is the expected result? That is an admin interface designed for a project i'm working on, the codename is blueberry, it's just a codename. Maby chrome freezezs that the layout is liquid, or maby it has something to do with the fact that the layout is liquid. What happens instead? The CPU goes to 100%, that's not normal, and all the anchors stop responding to the hover state. Basically chrome freezes. I've submited this same bug, via chrome's internal bug report system but i see the problem isn't solved. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Weird fact is that after more time, safari 4 starts using the cpu a lot, but it doesn't freeze like chrome does, and the cpu returns to idle after a while. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that chrome and safari both use the web kit engine. Please resolve this problem, it's not fun for my second favorite browser to screw up like this. P.s.: i'm a developer, that's why i've submitted this bug, and it was fairly easy to test the page in all browsers. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
