New issue 18928 by eamodio: Chrome tab hangs with Google Reader
(Intermittent)
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18928

Chrome Version : 3.0.197.11 (Official Build 22553)
URLs (if applicable) : reader.google.com
Other browsers tested:
Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue:
      Safari 4:
   Firefox 3.x: OK
          IE 7:
          IE 8:

What steps will reproduce the problem?
With the last 2 builds of Chrome Google Reader intermittently hangs and the
tab must be killed. This isn't reproducible on demand but happens a couple
times a day.
1. Open a tab with Google Reader
2. Open a tab with Gmail (don't know if this has any effect, but I always
have both of these opened)
3. Navigate a feed with the mouse wheel or using the 'n' and 'p' keyboard
navigation.

What is the expected result?
Tab should not hang

What happens instead?
Tab intermittently hangs.

Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
This hasn't ever happened with any prior build of Chrome other than this
one and the previous build (can't remember the number).
