I can also reproduce this bug, and has been happening only recently for me. Usually when ever i click on the in page comment button, the page hangs, goes to the in tab "connecting to server" spinning animation upon refresh or attempting to access a different website via the URL bar, but never connects or leaves the page. Sometimes I am able to close the tab by repeatedly clicking on the close tab button and middle clicking the tab, though often I have to kill the process.
