Odd. I rebooted twice before submitting this issue and it did not help. I rebooted twice today and now Chrome opens fine. The only software that has changed since that time is an update to RemoteBuddy, which does have a Kernel Extension. I am happy to experiment if you think there may be a bug here. But, I do not know if I will be able to reproduce the problem.
