Unless I'm misunderstanding, there's confusion here between password saving in Chrome, and sites using cookies to remember active logins. Chrome never automatically logs you into a site, the password manager just auto-fills the login form (and will in fact remember multiple accounts, auto-completing as soon as you start typing the right user name into the login field). If you've checked "Stay signed in" on the login form, or just haven't quit, then the fact that you are still logged in is something the site is doing based on cookies.
