Comment #11 on issue 12392 by [email protected]: Linux: text selections not explicitly issued by user should not change PRIMARY clipboard http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=12392
I was thinking about this and decided one easy workaround that would fix my first bullet point as well as #9 (but is not a great solution generally) is that we could avoid updating the PRIMARY selection after a new page loads until there is some user event observed on the page. Then just navigating could never mess with your selection. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
