Comment #3 on issue 15511 by [email protected]: Google chrome crashes if you clear browsing data - version - 3.0.190.4 http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=15511
Happens for me, but I'm only on 2.0.172.39. I'm on XP SP3. More details: *Only* happens on second or subsequent 'clear browsing data', when I'm timing page accesses. I do CBD, time the loading of 17 pages, and repeat 2 or 3 times. The second or third CBD hangs up, and I have to kill Chrome in the Task Manager. Additional problem: if I then restart Chrome, and later kill the new instance, a zombie is left behind, and takes up 100% of one of my two cores. When restarting after the CBD crash, Chrome asks me if I want to restore my old tabs; it's possible that I only get the zombie if I answer 'yes' to this question, but I'm not sure. The zombie is 'chrome.exe' in the task manager processes tab. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
