Updating the summary to match what I think the bug's original intent was
and removing
the beta target.
I don't know how feasible it would be to fall back on fontconfig if
XSETTINGS isn't
available (I don't think we want fontconfig's matching functionality; the
current code
is geared around global hinting and subpixel settings) or if it's worth
doing (we look
up GtkSettings in several different places and they'd all need to be
updated).
