Comment #3 on issue 19302 by [email protected]: Hotmail does NOT work on
Chrome
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19302

Hotmail is a popular site.
i imagine not many people have live.com in IE Trusted Sites list
(sounds like a really bad idea btw... mail should never be trusted that way
IMO)
and yet i never seen another report about this specific issue before.

that said i have seen a similar strange behavior recently:
with a specific computer, i was never able to login to mail.com using
chrome.

FF/IE/Opera/Safari - all fine. but with chrome after entering the login
credentials i
was redirected to a blank page.

clearing all cache. disabling hosts file, uninstalling flash, deleting
flash cache
folder, deleting the profile folder ...... all did not help
i had both chrome and chromium in that computer and both failed with that
specific
site.

in the end i fixed it by disabling some security software (System Safety
Monitor).
the connection between the solution and the problem is a mystery to me...
