thanks for the report, this is the repro steps i used
1. i copied some cells from excel (i used 4X5 filled with numbers i put in
the middle
of the sheet)
2. pasted into Compose Mail in Gmail (in rich text mode)
-looks ok so far, properly spaced
3. Ctrl+A Ctrl+V
-looks really bad, just a bunch of numbers
IE: OK
FF: OK
Opera: FAIL
Safari: FAIL
