Comment #1 on issue 19427 by viettrungluu: Mac: http auth and download blocker dialogs disable tab closure http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19427
For added confusion (for the http auth here; I haven't re-checked the download blocker): From the main menu, Close Tab always seems to be disabled; Close Window is sometimes enabled (but doesn't work? -- or at least sometimes doesn't work even when enabled). From the context menu (on the tab), Close Tab always seems to be enabled (and works). (Or, picking another tab, and doing Close Other Tabs kills the tab with the http auth dialog.) The close tab button sometimes works, sometimes doesn't. For a brand new tab in a brand new window, navigating straight to a page which requires http auth ... it doesn't. For a second tab, it usually does. Crap. I just got it to hang too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
