Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 19443 by [email protected]: view-source: Very slow mousewheel scrolling and selection on some pages http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19443
Chrome Version : Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686 (x86_64); en-US) AppleWebKit/532.0 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/3.0.198.1 Safari/532.0 URLs (if applicable) : view-source:http://crbug.com/ Other browsers tested: Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: Untested Firefox 3.x: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Open view-source:http://crbug.com/ 2. Attempt to scroll fast with the mousewheel 3. Attempt to select big chunks of text What is the expected result? These simple operations should be instantaneous What happens instead? They both consume a lot of resources. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Is this because of the wrapped line around the end? I think it's more likely because of those unclosed tags: <td class="vt col_5" onclick="if (!cancelBubble) _goIssue(8551)" ><a onclick="cancelBubble=true" href="detail?id=8551" > I don't have the time to do a reduction right now. In a couple of weeks, if no one does one by then. Note: I got a MX revolution on free-scroll, so it's kind of fast with scrolling. However selection shows it too. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
