Comment #25 on issue 11269 by RnSKSoft: [Snow Leopard] Upgrading Snow Leopard from Leopard : Chrome shows gibberish text instead of website actual text http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=11269
This issue doesn't seem to be limited to just Arial and is not in all cases resolved by disabling duplicates. Running version 4.0.202.0 (202.0), I had to *completely disable Arial*...simply disabling the dupes didn't do. However, this did not resolve the issue fully. It appears that the entire set of common "alternates" used in stylesheets (Verdana, Tahoma, Times New Roman, etc) can trigger this issue and the only way I have found to avoid it is to completely disable the typefaces. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
