Still happens for me in
Google Chrome 3.0.198.1 (Official Build 23116)
Load the page, run top, note that it's using 20% CPU (on my laptop).
Chrome is still
responsive, though.
I should try it in Windows when I get the chance.
I think this probably isn't too important.
