New issue 19690 by dawagner: Omnibox always searches http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19690 Chrome Version : Version: 3.0.198.1-r23116 OS + version : Ubuntu 8.04.1 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): amd64 window manager : Gnome URLs (if applicable) : All Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Works Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): Works What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Type any URI into the omnibox (e.g. http://www.google.com/) What is the expected result? Go to that url What happens instead? Go to a Google search for that URL Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. Can get around this by scrolling down the options if the site is listed, but for my webspace (http://www.danblog.co.uk/) this is not an option.
