Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 19777 by zhousharon: Can not insert link into Microsoft www.spaces.live.com blog post edit. http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19777
Chrome Version : 2.0.172.39 URLs (if applicable) : http://xiangspace.spaces.live.com/default.aspx Other browsers tested: IE and FF (all work fine) Add OK or FAIL after other browsers where you have tested this issue: Safari 4: Not tested yet. Firefox 3.x: OK IE 7: OK IE 8: OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Go to MSN space (my blog site) http://xiangspace.spaces.live.com/default.aspx or you can use any spaces.live.com account to edit a blog entry using it's Rich Edit. 2. Edit the blog entry "Testing Chrome", Insert a string named "here", then hightlight this string and make "here" an hyperlink by clicking the blue Earth and paper clip button. 3.On the pop up UI which is already truncated and misplaced on the page (Another Chrome compat bug), enter an URL such as www.google.com, then click Insert button. What is the expected result? This should make string "here" an link that's clickable and that open the URL in Chrome. What happens instead? It removed the string "here" all together. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
