Comment #5 on issue 19238 by [email protected]: Bug display when browsing
www.google.com.tw/dictionary
http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19238
Confirmed.
The error message has been fixed a few days ago.
However, I did reproduce the hang, I got into the state where Xorg was
using about 4GB
of memory and swapping like crazy (leading to the screen freezing).
Killing chrome didn't fix it (at least not within a few seconds), Xorg was
still using
about 4GB. The only way out was to kill X.
Launching chrome without --enable-plugins fixed it, so it's plugin related.
