Comment #5 on issue 19879 by [email protected]: Collect data on replace-versus-edit in address bar http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19879
I was thinking a bit about this last night while falling asleep. Most users don't know that you can type directly over a selection so they generally hit backspace to clear the selection before typing a new one (I've watched many people do this over the years during adhoc ui testing). It might be difficult to differentiate between "select all- backspace-type new url" and "click-backspace to edit-type updated url". They both involve very similar actions. Something to keep in mind during impl of the gathering. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
