its still happening. I also notice it on high speed videos, as soon as audio turns off. ie rate=16. It seems somewhere we have an assumption about 30fps when there is no audio to sync to. I've added rates to the testmatrix. Try schmup, which is just 640x480 and can handle the full range of rates. As you slowdown below 0.5 its increasingly obvious.
