New issue 20039 by kmicklas: Title of thumbnail page on new tab page never updates http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=20039 Chrome Version : 4.0.202.2-r23795 OS + version : Ubuntu 9.04 CPU architecture (32-bit / 64-bit): 32-bit window manager : Compiz URLs (if applicable) : Behavior in Firefox 3.x (if applicable): Behavior in Chrome for Windows (optional): What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Frequently visit a site that has a frequently changing title (e.g. a news site, for me this is a problem with the web-comic xkcd) until it appears on the new tab page. 2. Wait for the the content and the title of the page to change. 3. Look at the image and the title on the new tab page. The image will update each time you view the page, but the title will be the same as the first time you viewed the page. What is the expected result? The title should be updated each time the page is viewed, just like the image is. What happens instead? The image is updated but the title stays the same as the first time you viewed the page. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot and backtrace if possible. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
