I recall emacs has a tweakable flag that is related to whether to paste at
the mouse
cursor position or the current insert point, though I guess this bug is
that when
you're already in paste-at-mouse-position mode where we think the mouse
position is
when you're off the end of the text buffer.
I agree this feels weird on Linux. Maybe this is a Windowsism we
introduced in our
port? Pink, how do you feel about this behavior on the mac?
