I totally agree with William!  Also, if I have the setting for "NOT show  
bookmarks" I
automatically assume it applies to the NTP as well.

Tony, why should anyone expect the setting to not apply to the NTP and  
instead always
see bookmarks on the NTP, special section or common location  
notwithstanding?
