Comment #6 on issue 19054 by krtulmay: Linux: Bookmark bar always appears on a new tab http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=19054
Comment 2, Tony asks: "Out of curiosity, why don't you want to see the bookmarks bar on the NTP?" Comment 3, William answers: "It's just confusing, because I had thought that the bookmark bar wasn't on, but suddenly it appeared, so I thought I had my settings off, but when I switched tabs, it disappeared." I totally agree with William! Also, if I have the setting for "NOT show bookmarks" I automatically assume it applies to the NTP as well. Tony, why should anyone expect the setting to not apply to the NTP and instead always see bookmarks on the NTP, special section or common location notwithstanding? -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
