Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 20604 by Ricky.NJ: Overnight repeated AJAX calls results in a crash http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=20604
Google Chrome 3.0.195.10 (Official Build 24604) WebKit 532.0 V8 1.2.14.16 User Agent Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.0; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.0 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/3.0.195.10 Safari/532.0 Other browsers tested: Firefox 3.5.1 OK What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Download Hudson war file from https://hudson.dev.java.net/ 2. Deploy the war file on JBOSS 5.x AS or Tomcat 6. 3. Enable auto-refresh on hudson management page. 4. Configure couple of builds, (I have 12), each on cron to build themselves periodically, I leave the server on all the time, the Hudson Dashboard keeps refreshing itself and builds do happen; however in the morning when I wake up, Chrome had crashed; This DOES NOT happen in Firefox. What is the expected result? Should carry on forever since I never intend to close it down. What happens instead? Chrome Crashed, restart? message.
