What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. From a plugin call NPN_UserAgent returns:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9a1) Gecko/20061103
Firefox/2.0a1
2. From JavaScript calling navigator.userAgent gives:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US) AppleWebKit/532.0 (KHTML,
like Gecko) Chrome/4.0.204.0 Safari/532.0
What is the expected result?
The results should match, i.e. the string sent to the plugin should be the
same as the one sent to JavaScript, or at least it should identify itself
as Chrome.
What happens instead?
The user agent string is does not contain eny reference to Chrome.
Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if
possible.
