That's what I had thought too. So, when I wanted to pause my download, I
simply
clicked on the arrow. What happened is that the cancel action was executed
because
it's what happened to get under the pointer when I released the mouse.
Try this:
1. Switch to 800x600 resolution. Think netbooks.
2. Dock this tab at the bottom half of the screen.
3. Click on the wrench. Before you release the button notice your mouse is
"conveniently" placed on the 'Exit' menu item. See screenshot.
4. Poof! Chrome exits.
A solution could be to have menus appear to the side of the buttom that
triggered them,
or similar.
If it helps, I'm running Windows Vista.
