Status: Unconfirmed Owner: ---- Labels: Type-Bug Pri-2 OS-All Area-Misc New issue 21144 by meoknet: NTP Set Homepage Link http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=21144
Chrome Version : 4.0.206.1 What steps will reproduce the problem? 1. Install the latest dev build (4.0.206.1) 2. Open a new tab 3. Look to the bottom of the New Tab page What is the expected result? The NTP should not prompt me to set it as my homepage after I've opted to use my own home page. What happens instead? The NTP constantly displays an annoying link to set it as my homepage. Please provide any additional information below. Attach a screenshot if possible. Since the NTP is the default homepage in Chromium, it stands to reason that if it is not currently the default, it was the users explicit choice to change it in the options. There is therefore no need to clutter the page with a link to undo what the user has purposely done. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
