Comment #6 on issue 610 by jeremy.iglehart: holding ctrl in omnibar always assumes www. .com http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=610
Related to http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=11212 I also noticed this problem today. The real question of how this is supposed to work is the SAME as ALL of the other browsers. Additionally on a Mac you should be able to hold down the [COMMAND] - or "apple button" the one with the little butterfly icon on it (next to the space bar - just to the left of it) in place of the "ctrl" or "control" button. Thus the command combo on a MAC should be as follows: type "google" in the "address" bar hold down [command] adds "www." + "google" + ".com" and the others [SHIFT]+[command] and just shift respectively. My main note here is don't forget when you are implimenting this on the Mac to include the "apple" [command] button as the "ctrl" button because this is the common button used to do things like cut and paste and things as the such. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
