Could you find the file "Google Chrome-1.desktop" (it's probably in
~/.local/share/applications and attach it along with any other
similar .desktop files in
the same directory (e.g. "Google Chrome.desktop")?
Also, could you describe any other configuration steps you may have taken
between
first installing Chrome and the problem occurring? For instance, did you
change any file
type associations or manually create any icons for Chrome?
