After some testing, it seems to happen only if I enable plugins, and then open some tabs that contain Flash applications. It makes no difference whether I use extensions or not. I'm not sure about the following, but it seems that any random tab that will be displayed for the first time can lockup (without crashing), no matter if there actually is a Flash application on the page.
