Comment #8 on issue 18022 by chruss2: Whole browser hangs (very occasionally) http://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=18022
OK, I reproduced the hang, simply by browsing to a page that takes an hour to load. It's still a mystery why the throbber occasionally gets into its rotate-forever mode even after it has finished loading. Perhaps a second bug report to cover that? Steps to reproduce the hang: 1. Browse to a page that takes an hour to load, such as http://chris.heathens.co.nz/cgi-bin/delay.sh 2. Wait 20 - 30 minutes and watch the throbber go round and round. 3. Observe the entire browser UI is hung. -- You received this message because you are listed in the owner or CC fields of this issue, or because you starred this issue.
